Connecting Services
All Water/Wastewater and Power services may only be connected or disconnected after the correct form is completed and returned to the Utility department via e-mail, fax, mail, or hand delivery. Our water operator and/or power operator will assist you with turning your services on or off. Please call our Utility Clerk, Diana Moore, or our Village Administrator, Michelle Anderson, to set this up ahead of time if needed. Water/Wastewater Water/Wastewater Utility Rates: The Chignik Lagoon rates are monthly fixed rates so customers pay a flat fee. Residential Water Only: $63.60 Residential Sewer/Water: $103.62 Commercial: $386.40 Sewage pump-out rate: $150.00 |
Electricity
Chignik Lagoon has a power utility department within the Chignik Lagoon Village Council (CLVC) office to manage, operate and maintain electricity. Labor Request For sewage pump-out or any other labor request you can fill out the Customer Labor/Parts Request form and return it to the Power Utility via e-mail, fax, mail, or hand delivery. Payment Plans If you need a payment plan for water/wastewater or power utility services you can set this up with the Power Utility Clerk. |
Power Utility Rates:
The Chignik Lagoon Power Utility participates in the Power Cost Equalization (PCE) program. New PCE Rates effective February 16, 2023 are 0.6218 for residential up to 750 kWhs. This rate changes twice a year when our bi-annual fuel report gets processed with the RCA.
Residential: 0.90 per kWh up to 750 and 0.5750 per kWh after the first 750
Community Facility: 0.90 per kWh
Commercial: 0.90 per kWh
Large Commercial: 0.90 per kWh
Small Commercial: 0.5750 per kWh
Federal/State: 0.90 per kWh
